It’s been a few days now since returning from Europe, and I’m happy to say that I’ve finally overcome my jet lag problem. While we were in Paris, a good friend of mine brought us to the Eiffel Tower, and as soon as we took a seat to observe the enormous building, an amazing technicolor light show just happened to begin. I filmed a few bits and pieces of it and compiled them into one video, complete with a DeadMau5 soundtrack for effect. (There were a bunch of french kids blasting house music from their van and having a dance party behind us the entire time). Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
Click here for another cool light show that I filmed in Peru last winter.
I’ve just returned from a 10 day trip to London and Paris. It has proven an unforgettable experience that I will surely cherish in memory for the rest of my pre-senility life. I’d love to upload some photos and share them with you all, but unfortunately I’m suffering from an acute affliction known by many as… Jet Lag.
What is Jet Lag, you ask? via wikipedia:
Jet lag – medically referred to as “desynchronosis” is a physiological condition which is a consequence of alterations to circadian rhythms; it is classified as one of the circadian rhythm sleep disorders. Jet lag results from rapid long-distance transmeridian (east-west or west-east) travel, as on a jet plane.
Well, there you have it, folks. Jet lag affects thousands (if not millions) of people every day, and there’s simply no funny business about it. It is for this reason that I present to you the cure: The Eternal Sunset Project
The Eternal Sunset Project uses 208 west facing webcams across 43 countries to create a virtual space “where the sun is always going down but never goes under.” With this amazing tool, you can trick yourself into thinking it’s night time, and drift off to sleep with little to no effort.
OK, fine, maybe it’s not really a cure, but hey, it’s a cool website… right?
A friend of ours runs a neat little blog called PeerCasters. He is devoted to showcasing the most outrageously innovative and worthwhile companies and services on the net. He wrote an awesome piece about us, check it out! and be sure to leave him some love in the comments!
It is with great fervor and much awesomeness that A Little Bit Weird announces a new line of tees — with stuff for both guys and gals! we’ve really kicked it up a notch and have received nothing but beaming reviews.
Couple of noteworthy things about our new line:
1. Further out-there designs (push it to the limit!)
2. No longer any branding on the back (you asked, we delivered)
3. Designs come in both dudes and ladies style tees
Hit up the shop and grab a tee!
Also, we had a blast doing the photo shoot for this line at an awesome vintage bowling alley, so thanks to everyone involved! Check ‘em out:
Christie, our new friend from Twitter was awesome enough to snap some photos of her amazing trip to the Middle East where she proudly wore here Grapefruit V-Neck. There’s a photo of Christie in front of the Treasury at Petra
(built by the Nabateans about 2000 years ago, used by Steven Spielberg
in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade), a photo of her and camel friend, and a photo of her being silly in front of the Pyramids. Thanks so much Christie!
We love getting emails and photos from you guys, so please, if you have anything to show/say to us, shoot an email our way!
