English artist Jason de Caires Taylor is world renowned for having created the first underwater sculpture park in Grenada, West Indies. He sculpts with the intention of creating an artificial reef for marine life to populate, and as you can see from the first and second photos, his unique style works quite well. His sculptures quickly attract all sorts of planktons and corals until they're covered with a one-of-a-kind, living paint-job.
